Reiki:
Energy Healing of the Mind, Body, and Soul
I have been a lifelong student of wanting to transform my life and develop my “intuitive” gifts from childhood. We are all bodies of the “energy” and we each have an “aura”, a shield of color around us that can tell us about our health, our innate “gifts” and what blocks us from our greatest potential.
Two psychics from the Pyramid of Enlightenment, Linda Markham and Debbie Alderson helped me to realize my potential and past-life that my hands had the ability to “heal” and to take the Reiki class with LeeAnn. In 2001 I took all three levels of the Reiki class to be a Reiki master. I already had a teaching degree and wanted to “open” up my energy levels since I was currently working with severely mentally handicapped children. The completion of the third level Reiki class really opened my eyes to the color; the human energy centers called the “chakras” and directionally attuned me with the Divine force of the universe. I have been able to use Reiki on myself to “unblock” Past life attachments that have “blocked” me from reaching my potentials!
Reiki helped me use healing modalities in my classroom. I had one cerebral-palsy student who regained some ability to speak and walk with assistance. I used Reiki to clear the energy in my classroom and my “touch” had a very calming effect on students with behavior problems.
I expanded my Reiki to distant healing and using Reiki on my pets. Here is one of my stories:
Patches 1990-2009
Patches was my beloved Calico cat. In 2005 she began a spiraling decline in her health and renal failure. The vet wanted to probe and stick Patches with needles and expensive medications every three weeks; I could not make Patches suffer this way. I choose to take Patches off medications, expensive dietary vet food and testing; the vet told me she would be dead in three weeks!
I choose a holistic approach and a urinary supplement, changed her dry food and made sure Patches had plenty of water in her food and a huge bowl of water where she slept. I also used Reiki with color healing and energy work on Patches for a month. Pets love Reiki! I firmly believe by my holistic approach and using Reiki, I prolonged Patches until 2009, another five years!
I have had verbal affirmations from Reiki sessions, one friend whose parent had invasive surgery recuperated sooner than the doctor expected (2003).
To date practitioners are being used here in hospitals in Indiana.
To those of you that I have read at our fairs, I have always recommended Reiki as a first step to helping you to “open” to your intuitive gifts! ***
